About us

Who are CUCASO

We the Seventh-Day Adventists in Coastal institutions, being part of the world wide Seventh-Day Adventist Church, constrained by the love of Jesus Christ (2 Cor 5:14); recognizing and appreciating the need to live up to our calling as a chosen race, the king’s priests, a holy nation. God’s own chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God (1 Peter 2:9) and to proclaim the everlasting gospel (Rev 14:6-12) within and without the said institutions i.e. universities, colleges and secondary schools.

And realizing the need to be in the habit of meeting together and encouraging one another (Heb 10:25) and thereby striving to hold together all the brethren within the association and with other members of our faith. And noting the importance of sharing with others the faith we profess in and around the world and keeping in touch with them whenever possible. And finally further, the cause of the gospel (Mat 28:18-20) in the context of the three angels message (Rev 14:6-12) by rendering our all.

We do therefore take the challenge to share and proclaim the faith we profess and to obey the gospel commission of our Lord. To this end, we now solemnly inaugurate the “COASTAL UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES ADVENTISTS STUDENTS ORGANISATION” (CUCASO). With regard to the forgoing we hereby establish this constitution to govern, rule and bind the functioning of the organization.
